I found this round wooden piece about a week ago while wandering around a local bead shop. So I bought it, went home, and made this. I originally thought it would make an interesting bracelet. After some failed attempts at making a bracelet with some purple-ish embroidery thread, I made this necklace instead.
It reminds me of bricks, which I thought was neat; however, hanging vertically it doesn’t much look like bricks anymore…maybe some strange Asian trees…
